Badamees are a Hyderabad original. A cross between a traditional Indian almond sweet and a baked biscuit, Badamees are made from a base of whole almonds, sugar, and binding agents that are shaped by hand and baked slowly until they develop a firm, slightly chewy texture on the outside with a dense, nutty centre.
Dadu's has been making Badamees since 1983. The recipe has not changed because it does not need to. Each piece is packed with the natural flavour of real almonds and carries none of the artificial aftertaste that comes with factory-made nut biscuits.
