What goes inside a Dadu's dry fruit box?
Every box holds the four dry fruits everyone recognises: badam (almonds), cashew, pista (pistachios) and kishmish (raisins). From 400 g, many boxes add walnut and apricot, and two add cranberry. Our 1 kg box holds six: badam 200 g, kishmish 200 g, and cashew, pista, walnut and apricot at 150 g each.
We keep both roasted and unroasted dry fruits, so a box can be customised either way. Roasted nuts suit someone who will snack on them straight from the box, while unroasted nuts suit a home that cooks with them or soaks badam overnight.
